Rural Fitness is a privately owned gym facility located in the beautiful area of North Lincolnshire, surrounded by countryside. We opened our doors for private Personal training sessions and Fitness classes in 2024 where we have been overwhelmed by the positive response. Our aim was to create a unique safe place for individuals where everyone feels welcomed.
We understand when embarking on a lifestyle change/ Fitness journey it can be both exciting and daunting, but it all starts with small, manageable steps. Over time, these adjustments can lead to life changing results in your overall health and well-being.
Whether you’re looking to lose weight, build muscle, improve cardiovascular health, flexibility or simple boost your confidence we will work with every step of the way.

What makes our facilities different?
Rural Fitness is a hidden fitness facility. Away from others where not even your vehicle can be seen. You’ll be welcomed by countryside and pure tranquillity.
Throughout your session unlike at a busy local commercial gym, there will be no waiting for machines, no one watching, no one asking ‘are you nearly finished on this machine’ our full attention and time is dedicated to you.
Get to know our Coaches
Hiya I’m Claire.
From the age of six sport and fitness has always been my passion where I played any team sport I could get involved with. It all started when I played football for the local mixed team before moving to Retford United Ladies, Sheffield Wednesday Ladies then finishing at Scunthorpe United Ladies at the age of 23.
Becoming a Qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer, Boxercise Coach, Fitness Instructor & Nutrition Coach has not only allowed my own progress to grow but also to give my knowledge and understanding to others in bettering their life through the enjoyment of fitness. From proven results of clients, it gives me great fulfilment too see others strive in achieving huge milestones and goals that they could only ever dream of.
My style of training now involves resistance training, boxing, HITT Training and CrossFit but most importantly for me it has to be fun. Exercise is my therapy. Being a mum, wife and working full time I have a deep routed understanding of having to balance everyday life. I hear you, It seemed overwhelming and impossible for me too when I had our first child. Once I leapt over that first hurdle and made small changes where I could it all fell into place. Now It’s a part of life, I schedule it to work round my family and lifestyle.

Why I might not be the personal trainer for you?
I am honest and very approachable but I am a no quick fix PT. There will be no 7 day shred, No 6 day booty builder programme, no extreme food restrictions, and definitely no false promises. Goals set may take time BUT it will be sustainable, enjoyable and achievable.
This is a lifestyle change, a mindset change, tackling habits slowly that have may accumulated over time. Its about having a healthy relationship with food, eating the foods you enjoy in moderation, and most importantly enjoying the process. Your programme will suit your work and home life schedule. Its all about balance, time management, doing what we CAN in the time you have not what we cant.
